![]() ![]() When you have 20% support for the faction, embrace it.This page was last edited on 15 April 2016, at 05:00. Fortunately, having the faction now makes your pops much more inclined to switch to that ethic. That means at least 20% of your pops need to having that ethic. Get that faction up to at least 20% support. I just noticed that my bunch of outposts (95 systems (aka outposts)), which equates to about 1/5th of medium sized galaxy, increased the cost 188% while my 6 colonies only increased it by 25%.When you have at least 5 pops with the ethic, they will found the corresponding faction. Being unable to see the sun, forced to drink blood, and hunted by tons of Vampire Hunters, I survived 100 Days as a VAMPIRE in Hardcore Minecraft.Main mod. Each time a crisis conquers a planet it causes diplomatic Threat with all empires. There are two types of crises: those caused by outside entities that make an appearance after the end-game start year, and those caused by player and AI empires (except Fallen Empires ). A crisis is an event that threatens the entire galaxy and all life within it. It has learned, gained experience, and grown as an intelligent being, and might even regret. Dessanu Consonance: After some lengthy amount of time, the Gray Tempest got bored, and possibly contemplative, all alone in the L-Cluster. I tried swarming them with Xenomorphs, I hardly scratched a single army before all of mine were wiped out.The Gray Tempest is still in its original form, swarming as fleets of warships and killing everyone it encounters. I've tried swarming them with an endless stream of clones, they were killed off faster than I could train them. They even do it to other AI empires making some really weird border gore.Their capital is guarded by a ridiculous amount of the Katzen's unique armies, which seem to be completely unbalanced. ![]() Or I have also seen them have large gaps 2-3 jumps in size between chunks of their territory like they are just jumping over systems to claim ones behind borders or past enemies. Expand your borders …So its only happened in a few games but somehow the AI is going either through or past my systems to build outposts in systems I have yet to take. Firstly I would recommend colonising planets much closer to your current borders, this will expand your borders without other empires being able to settle on planets within your borders. So, a system that is 4 systems away from one owned by you would cost a base of 300 influence! This also means that if you skip systems and grab stuff further away, the influence cost is the same as it would be if you. For each system it is further away from your current borders, it costs an extra 1x base. Paradox strategy games have a habit of layering complexity so thick that I often don’t discover really useful mechanics until 10, 20, 50, or even 100 hours in. If you are able to beat the Xenophobic Fallen. The Xenophobic empire will force you to not expand into the systems adjacent to its systems, so you cannot claim it. Claims are claims that other empires have to a system, from which they can go to war to gain those systems. Make presents (resources/month for 30 years, star charts, heck eaven free research agreements) to get people to like you if you must.An empire builds outposts in systems in order to expand their borders. People play very hard/insane and being behnind the AI for a big chunk of the game is just normal there. Outposts have no limit, you can have dozens. As always: Dont neglect diplomacy. But you are only allowed to have 5 outposts. At lest you dont have to do any upkeep on them now. You have to put a outpost at each system now. Yes there is no natural expansion and that is to avoid border gore. The sphere of influence it creates is miniscule compared to the old outpost system, and I am just a bunch of tiny spheres of influence rather than a contiguous empire from building stations. Im still getting used to the new mechanics since taking a long break, and one thing I cant seem to figure out is how to expand your borders with the new starbase system. ![]()
